The Wood Protection Association is a not for profit organisation, which acts as a technical and advisory body. The WPA is a leading authority on factory applied timber treatments - preservation, wood modification and flame retardants – technologies which help enhance the performance and value of wood for construction. The association administers the WPA Benchmark Quality Approval schemes.
