This striking lightweight timber addition not only increases the building’s floor area by an impressive 40% but also embraces the Dutch concept of “Optoppen,” a clever approach that enhances urban density by topping structures with timber.

The design features advanced waterproofing and structural upgrades, utilising Spider connections from Rothoblaas to ensure stability and integrity. By minimising the need for columns, the layout creates expansive, open spaces filled with light and versatility.
