As the building sector contributes up to 40% of global annual greenhouse gas emissions, it plays a vital role in combatting climate change. Wood construction is a part of the solution.
As well as showing carbon storage information, the Product Climate Impact Calculator also measures the average Global Warming Potential (GWP) fossil of different Metsä Wood products by volume.
The calculator is based on Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and is available free of charge on the company’s website at
