BSW Timber, in partnership with parent company binderholz, is introducing cross-laminated timber (CLT), including a decorative range of micro CLT, to the UK market. By bringing these solutions to the market, the company aims to provide more options for builders and DIYers alike, showcasing the versatility and quality of timber as a construction material.
Known as ‘Decorative Micro CLT’, this new product is a three-layer solid wood spruce panel with tongue and groove connections on all four edges. It provides a highly decorative finish for a multitude of high-quality interior construction and DIY projects. The new multi-layered panels have a planed, finished surface, which is easy to stain or paint and comes ready to fix, using hidden fixings for an aesthetic finish.
These lightweight panels are designed to be flexible, versatile, and suitable for projects such as garden rooms, home offices and gyms; loft and garage conversions; storage cupboards; ceiling panels; and for use as feature and partition walls.
