Learn from the multidisciplinary team behind Greyfriars Charteris Centre – shortlisted in the Interior category of the 2022 Wood Awards.

About this event:

The designTimber series continued with Greyfriars Charteris Centre, which was shortlisted in the Interior category in last year’s Wood Awards.

Designed by Konishi Gaffney Architects, this elegant timber refurbishment and extension of a former Edinburgh church provides a workspace, community hub, events spaces, and a non-denominational sanctuary.

During the webinar, we hear from Kieran Gaffney from Konishi Gaffney Architects, structural engineers Mike Gauld & Andrew Forshaw from Forshaw Gauld and timber fabrication specialists Neville Rae & Scott Laverie from Old School Fabrications as they discuss the design and creation of this transformative timber project.
