designTimber – Spruce House & Studio

About this event:

The designTimber series continued with Spruce House & Studio, winner of the Private Award in last year’s Wood Awards.

Designed by ao-ft, this highly detailed 2-storey home uses prefabricated cross-laminated timber panels for both structure and interior finishes, creating generous, open spaces within a constrained footprint.

Project architect Zach Fluker presents the development of this beautiful family home alongside structural engineer Sanja Buncic and CLT contractor Jim Johnstone.
