Second TDUK online coffee break & networking session

Expand your knowledge, learn about Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and get familiar with our Timber Knowledge Library in this special online networking session.

Join us for a second TDUK online networking session this lunch-hour. We will be having a discussion with TDUK Sustainability Director, Charlie Law, on Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Find out what they are, how to create an EPD and, why they have become essential for companies producing timber products in recent years. Charlie will be going through the stages of obtaining an EPD and will break down the terminologies behind this seemingly complex subject area. This part of the session will be particularly relevant to supplier members, but specifiers wishing to understand the process will also find this section useful.

Liam Macandrew, Head of Digital and Content, will be covering the latest updates within the TDUK Knowledge Library, a set of resources developed with experts from Edinburgh Napier University and our unrivalled membership network of timber professionals, over 70 Timber Knowledge Sheets are now available for TDUK members to read and download. This part of the session will be particular useful for designers seeking support on various timber-related subjects, from an introductory understanding of trees and species to detailing and use of timber when designing.

“Whether you work in the Build, Supply or Design sector, you’ll find a wealth of information packed within the Timber Knowledge Sheets”
