We strip away the ambiguity around timber specification, providing architects and engineers with the tools to answer critical questions regarding fire safety and structural integrity. Learn how to specify the right products for the right applications, backed by evidence that satisfies both the building inspector and the client.
In this free online session on 24 June 2026, we will be joined by an industry expert, together with one of the lead educators from the Timber in the Construction Project Team, talking to what best practice actually looks like in the UK when designing and specifying timber products and systems.
This session will introduce the key intervention developed by leading built environment experts to help build confidence in the use of timber. It is designed to be introductory, accessible to beginners and professionals, supporting the growth of the use of timber in construction, and fostering a community of practitioners
