Timber Development UK exists to support businesses and professionals across the timber supply chain. As the industry continues to evolve, it is increasingly important that our services reflect the challenges our members are facing and provide genuine value to their businesses.
That is why we are asking members to tell us what you use, what you value, where we can improve and what you need from TDUK in the future.

The survey covers the main areas in which TDUK supports its members:
- News, Insight & Advocacy – keeping you informed about industry developments and representing the interests of the timber sector
- Technical Knowledge & Standards – providing authoritative technical information, guidance and expert support
- Education & Skills Development – supporting professional development and the skills needed across the supply chain
- Market Data & Trade Intelligence – providing data and insight to help members understand market conditions and make informed decisions
- Sustainability & Compliance – helping members navigate carbon, quality and responsible sourcing requirements
- Networking & Supply Chain Connections – creating opportunities to connect with businesses, specialists and peers across the industry
The survey is dynamic, so you will only be asked to evaluate the services and activities you or your team have engaged with. This means you can focus on the areas that are relevant to you.
Looking beyond today
The survey isn’t simply asking whether you are satisfied with TDUK’s current services.
We also want to understand where the industry is heading and where members believe TDUK should focus its resources next.
That includes the issues you expect your business to face over the next two to three years, the areas where you need additional support, and the services, knowledge and connections you would like TDUK to develop.
Your feedback will help us identify where we are delivering strongly, where there are gaps, and where there is growing demand for additional support.
Your experience matters
Whether you work in manufacturing, merchanting, design, engineering, construction, forestry, distribution, education, consultancy or another part of the timber supply chain, your experience is important.
Different parts of our membership use TDUK in different ways. We want to hear from as broad a range of members and professionals as possible to build a better TDUK for the future.
