Importers of timber and timber products are crucial to us. We are proud to represent the majority of timber importers in the UK, including the largest importers of softwood in the UK, through to importers of high value, low-volume specialised timber products.
Around 10-12 million cubic metres of timber arrives in UK ports every year, with imports a crucial element of the timber supply chain. It will arrive as everything from large sawn logs, to pre-assembled, low-carbon construction products ready to be deployed.
