Rising to the Challenge

Following the completion of this year’s University Design Challenge – where teams of multi-discipline students competed to reimagine and retrofit a building using timber – this magazine features details of the winning designs, selected entries, student learnings and judges feedback.

With huge thanks to all our participating students and judges.

The challenge is bought together by Timber Development UK in a collaborative partnership with AECB, BE-ST, NMITE, Edinburgh Napier University and Passivhaus Trust, with software from Trimble, the Passive House Institute and AECB.
