About the project

The Armadillo is a sound pavilion designed for the London Festival of Architecture 2024. This project has been designed to be fully demaountable and reused on different locations/events.
The structure is made up of different independent arches to optmise shape and acoustics performance.
Attention to details on foundation has been considered to protect panels from water and moisture. A final layer of eucalyptus is experimentally tested as last lamella to protect the cross laminated panels outdoors
