About the project

Designis is an innovative architectural design agency specialising in sustainable construction methods and smart building materials. Their approach embraces natural materials, energy-efficient design, and alternative construction techniques, including vapour-permeable structures, laminated skeleton constructions (Kerto LVL, CLT), and SIP panels.

“As a young architectural agency, we prioritise natural materials and the reuse of raw materials,” says Moreno Vrijma, Designer at Designis.

ArchiFrame enables Designis to keep everything within Archicad, from initial design to factory production. This streamlined workflow eliminates double drawing work and improves efficiency.

One of Designis’s key achievements with ArchiFrame has been the customisation of XML files to create a unique colour and ID system. This adaptation has sped up data export and project setup, making client management more efficient.

Additionally, ArchiFrame’s flexibility allows Designis to use it either at the beginning of a project or through to factory production, depending on project needs. The firm also benefits from ongoing technical support, particularly for advanced functions like CNC export.
