About the project

Egoin UK was appointed by Kent Structures to help in the post planning design of a new community centre and nursery for New Romney Town Centre, using modern methods of construction that allow for a more sustainable, faster and cleaner job. Working as a close team and providing structural input and design, Egoin UK proposed a CLT structure, with glulam and steel beams where necessary, that allowed Kent Structures to do a value engineering exercise that also lowered the excavation costs and disruption to the community.
