OmVed Gardens

About the project
OmVed, located in North London, is a garden, exhibition, and educational space designed to foster creativity, ecology, and sustainable practices. Carpenter Oak was commissioned to construct five distinct contemporary buildings: The Seminar Space, The Broom Room, The Seed Vault and Convenience Facilities all crafted from kiln-dried Douglas fir, and the Green House, constructed with SAP-free larch glulam.
These versatile structures provide multi use functionality while enhancing OmVed’s mission to cultivate a space where nature and diverse perspectives thrive. Each building serves as a hub for exploring food, creativity, and ecological practices that contribute to health and climate resilience.
