About the project

Self-build customers in Hampshire approached Vision Development after deciding on timber frame for their bungalow to house extension.

Due to timbers lightweight nature and excellent thermal properties the customer felt this would be the perfect fit for their project needs.

Vision worked alongside the customers chosen builder to ensure the timber frame manufacture and installation aligned with their timescales.

The speed of timber frame construction is far quicker than alternative methods, meaning less disruption, less mess due to the off-site manufacture and having a weathertight structure to be achieved much faster, with timber frame bungalow conversions typically taking 2-3 weeks in total.
