Key Information

Engineered Bamboo Products are gradually entering the mainstream, but they are not yet commercially available as structural products. Standards for EBPs are being developed, albeit the current thinking is that EBPs are sufficiently similar to EWPs to not warrant a special set of design codes, that is EBPs potentially could be designed to Eurocode 5 subject to the existence of sufficient EN standards to support the process.
