Summary

In-situ repairs are necessary when timber components in a structure are no longer safe or serviceable for their intended purpose. They can also restore the appearance, performance, and functionality of timber.

“In-situ” means in position, which for timber construction means on site. Repairing damaged timber in-situ requires surveying and remediation without damaging the timber itself, to maintain structural integrity.
