Summary

As prefabricated, high-performance, lightweight building panels, structural insulated panels are used in walls and roofs for residential and commercial buildings.

Structural insulated panels (SIPs) are made by laminating high-density facings to an insulating foam core. The strong structural bonds enable the bearing of considerable loads with reduced studding.

SIPs easily achieve roof and wall U-value targets and provide good levels of airtightness through panelised construction.
