Summary
Imports of the main timber and panel products in January 2023 were 9% lower than in January 2022.
The supply of most timber and panels comes from Europe, but this domination slightly weakened in 2022 – see “Timber & Panel Imports by World Region”
Key Information
In the first month of 2023 solid wood imports were 6% higher than in January 2022 and imports of panel products were 27% lower.
