Summary

Imports of the main timber and panel products in the eleven months of 2022 were 21% below the same period in 2021.

In the period January to November 2022, solid wood imports were 24% lower than over the same period in 2021 and imports of panel products were 15% lower.

Imports of the main timber and panel products between January and November 2022 were 2.4 million m3 lower than over the same period in 2021. Imports in 2022 to date totalled 8.8 million m3, a decline of 21%
