Summary
Imports of the main timber and panel products in the first four months of 2023 were 9% lower than over the same period in 2022.
After a period of great price volatility over the last 2 years, prices have stabilised in 2023 to date.
Solid wood imports over the first four months of 2023 were 8% lower than over the same period in 2022 and imports of panel products were 11% lower.
