Summary
Imports of the main timber and panel products in the first two months of 2023 were 6% lower than over the same period in 2022. The latest CPA forecasts provide a guide to possible levels of demand for timber and panels in 2023 and 2024.
In the first two months of 2023 solid wood imports were 1% lower than in the same period in 2022 and imports of panel products were 14% lower.
