Composite Prime has announced a Transatlantic Product Showcase Event in partnership with The AZEK Company.
On 1 October, 2024, the all-day event at Leeds’ Oulton Hall will introduce new decking technology that Composite Prime is bringing to the UK. The event has been tailored specifically for distributors, timber and builders merchants, landscapers, and other professionals keen to enhance their decking product offering.
On the day, US decking authority Dr. Decks will demonstrate his techniques and discuss the merits of AZEK’s advanced PVC Polymer technology. There will also be product demonstrations and an interactive Q&A session where you can ask questions and learn how to maximise your decking sales.
Products being introduced at the event include:
- Elements powered by AZEK: an advanced PVC Polymer board that offers an ultra-realistic hardwood look, as well as Cool Touch Technology that keeps it cool and safe to walk barefoot on, even on the hottest days. The technology comes in three widths, and uses a Cortex collated hidden plug system to eliminate the need for pre-drilling. Suitable for use as both decking and cladding, it also comes with a 50-year limited warranty.
- Boardwalk powered by TimberTech: a high-performance Composite board featuring a linear wood grain aesthetic with natural colour options and a matte finish. The board comes with comprehensive 360-degree capping for superior protection, and versatile installation options including a Cortex collated hidden plug system and a traditional clip system.
Both new ranges are made in the USA and offer durability and sustainability credentials, transforming landfill-bound waste and scrap into low-maintenance, high-performance outdoor products.
