Imports of the main timber and panel products in H1 2023 were 7% lower than over the same period in 2022. However, June 2023 volume was the first month this year to record higher import volumes than in 2022.

Solid wood imports over the first six months of 2023 were 7% lower than over the same period in 2022 and imports of panel products were 5.5% lower.
