Voting in the wood industries’ longest running awards event – the TTJ Awards – is hotting up, with the window rapidly closing for wood product buyers to nominate their best performing suppliers. The annual Awards, held by the Timber Trades Journal (TTJ), sees buyers of wood products vote for their best-performing suppliers and manufacturers, covering the breadth of the timber and wood product industries. The voting deadline is coming up fast on 26 June, with buyers of products able to vote on a secure online voting platform at TTJAWARDS.
The TTJ Timber Trader of the Year 2026 is being sponsored by Timber Development UK (TDUK) in what is the 30th anniversary year of the TTJ Awards. The award recognises excellent performance across the various wood product categories, ultimately rewarding a company who has proved themselves as a leader in their field, with excellent customer service, which is investing and planning for the future – a real all-rounder.
As well as highlighting overall best performance, voters can mark against good service, product quality and range of products, delivery service and value for money.

TDUK is also sponsoring the Small Trader of the Year Award, which recognises the vital role played by smaller timber product companies in the UK timber supply chain.
Other TTJ voting categories include importing/distribution/merchanting, manufacturing, sawmilling, joinery products, and timber construction systems. In addition, a number of judged categories can also be entered spanning Innovation, Marketing, Environmental Achievement, Career Development and Timber Merchanting Development.
The TTJ Awards will take place on 18 September at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square.
