About the project
Two modern timber frame treehouse cabins, high in the tree canopy, surrounded by rolling Devon countryside.
These two tree house cabins were designed and built by EmanuelHendry ensuring practicality in construction without compromising the unique geometric design. Built on just 4 low impact concrete pads the six legs of the structure propel the first floor 5 meters up in the air, with the roof windows nearly 10 meters up offering spectacular views over to Dartmoor and beyond.
All the timber was sourced locally and from within the UK. The building was three dimensionally prefabricated in a workshop just 5 miles from the site before begin craned in over and through the tree canopy.
