Timber Development UK (TDUK) welcomes the proposal by the European Commission to delay the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) until 30 December 2025, but we must now wait until mid-November for the official confirmation to be announced.
The European Parliament has scheduled the official vote on the Proposal for amending Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, which is now expected to be held at the Plenary session scheduled for 13 and 14 November. After this date, we expect an announcement to be made officially postponing the EUDR.
