Wood Awards Ceremony
The Wood Awards Ceremony is one of the most highly anticipated events in the timber design industry calendar. The evening will begin with a drinks and canape reception at Carpenters Hall, followed by the awards ceremony itself, with drinks and networking afterwards.
The Wood Awards is the UK’s premier competition for excellence in architecture and product design in wood. Established in 1971, the Wood Awards recognises, encourages, and promotes outstanding wood design, craftsmanship and installation. By celebrating the many ways timber can transform and enrich our lives, the Wood Awards seek to be a vehicle for positive change in the built environment.
The crescendo of the Wood Awards takes place in the historical Carpenters Hall, situated in the heart of London. The awards are split into two main categories: Buildings and Furniture & products. The Gold Award is given to the project that the judges deem to be winner of the winners.
Last year’s ceremony attracted over 200 guests from across the timber supply chain – including Wood Awards supporters and sponsors, leading architects, engineers, and specifiers from across the industry.
All the shortlisted projects will be on display at the ceremony in a specially commissioned exhibition, as well as being featured in our Wood Awards magazine
This event is invite only. More information on the event will follow later in the year.
